Coming together to build engagement in your group
An online session with Heather Collins to build engagement and strength in Catchment Groups
Heather Collins is well known for her work with rural communities and engagement.
She recently supported the ‘Women in Catchments’ online session to discuss and support the attendees with their questions on engagement within and external to their catchment groups.
The discussion was wide and varied, but led with ease by Collins, who was able to draw on each of the attendees knowledge of their own area, experiences they have each had regarding ‘good engagement’, as well as drawing from the group ways to work around tricky, or dis-engagement issues.
This online group is working well to support and extend learning together, and it is encouraging to see the network grow in strength and reach.
This session wasn’t recorded, but a ‘top tips’ document is provided for your reference.
If you are interested in joining these informal sessions, which meet about once every 6 weeks (depending on people’s schedules!), please get in touch with Anna. anna.robinson@otagocatchments.co.nz
